Z-Series Texas Blues Set™
Bridge: Z-Series Overwound Fat 5 (ZOWF)
Middle: Z-Series Overwound 2 (ZOW2)
Neck: Z-Core Overwound 5 (ZOW5)
This is the Z-Series version of our Legacy Series™ Texas Blues Set, named after Anthony Stauffer of Texas Blues Alley who came up with this brilliant mix of pickup voicings. With the Fat 5 voicing in the bridge, a 2 in the middle, and a high output 5 voice in the neck, this is a very versatile set with woody neck tones that have tons of body and punch, Fat Stratty bridge tones and loads of juicy quack. This set works best with 500 k controls. Select kit 1 or kit 2 (if you want the blend option. Kits with an "A" substitute a no load tone pot for the neck and middle (a master no load tone for kits with the blend option). More details ...

Z-Series Texas 5 Set™
Bridge: Z-Series Overwound Fat 5 (ZOWF)
Middle: Z-Core Modern 5 (ZMD5)
Neck: Z-Core Overwound 5 (ZOW5)
This is the Z-Series version of our Legacy Series™ Texas 5 Set. This set borrows the hotter neck pickup from the Texas Blues Set and replaces the 2 in the middle with a Z-Core Modern 5 providing more open, crystalline quacky tones. This set works best with 500 k controls. Select kit 1 or kit 2 (if you want the blend option. Kits with an "A" substitute a no load tone pot for the neck and middle (a master no load tone for kits with the blend option). More details ...

Middle: Vintage Single 2 (SV2)
Neck: Vintage Single 5 Overwound (SV5O)
The Texas Blues Set is named in honor of our good friend Anthony Stauffer at Texas Blues Alley who had the brilliant idea of putting an SV5O in the neck. The slightly higher output of the SV5O just works! Along with the saturated tone of our 5+ voicing in the bridge and the rounder tone of our 2 voicing in the middle, this set can cover a lot of Strat bases from down and dirty blues to classically Stratty tones. Middle: Vintage Single 5 (SV5)
Neck: Vintage Single 5 Overwound (SV5O)
The Texas 5 Set utilizes the slightly higher output of the SV5O in the neck and a standard SV5 in the middle! Along with the saturated tone of our 5+ voicing in the this set can go form crystalline quack to down and dirty blues. More details...
