The Convertible is designed to split. In Silent Split™ mode it has a response similar to the Fat 5™, but at a lower output level, comparable to a low wind conventional single coil. In series mode it has a powerful, but clear voice, kind of like AlNiCo 5 on a LOT of steroids. The Convertible for Bridge is wound hot, for the bridge position. In series mode, it’s the highest output Strat® pickup we make.
